We are looking for a Junior WordPress Developer
This role is ideal for someone with 13 years of WordPress experience who enjoys building user-friendly websites, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with designers and content teams.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update existing WordPress websites
- Customize WordPress themes and work with common plugins
- Build and update web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP
- Publish and manage website content, layouts, and media
- Troubleshoot website issues and resolve bugs
- Assist with implementing new website features and enhancements
- Ensure websites are responsive across desktop and mobile devices
- Support website performance, security updates, and ongoing maintenance
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to deliver high-quality web experiences
- Follow coding standards and use version control to manage changes
Requirements:
- 13 years of experience working with WordPress
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Working knowledge of PHP
- Experience customizing WordPress themes and using popular plugins
- Familiarity with responsive web design principles
- Experience using Git or another version control system
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Gutenberg, Elementor, or other WordPress page builders
- Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices
- Experience with WooCommerce is a plus
